East Carolina Pirates College Football Info

ECU has won seven conference championships, most recently with Skip Holtz in 2009. They have also appeared in a total of nine bowl games, including four under former head coach Ruffin McNeill where they have a record of just 1-3 SU. Through the 2017 campaign, the Pirates went just 3-9 SU and ATS and finished second last in the American Athletic Conference East division. East Carolina has had 25 All-Americans throughout the program's history. Numerous Pirates have played in the NFL, including ten current players. The most memorable alumni is running-back Chris "CJ2K" Johnson who played for the Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals.

The Pirates are currently led by head coach Scottie Montgomery and play out of Bagwell Field in Greenville, North Carolina.
