Ohio Bobcats College Football Info
The best years of Ohio University football came between 1929-19387 under head coach Don Peden, and once again during the 1960's with Bill Hess at the helm. Through those years, the Bobcats claimed 11 conference championships while participating in the Buckeye Athletic Association and the Mid-American Conference. More recently, Ohio is just 3-8 SU in bowl game appearances overall, but are coming off a convincing win in the 2017 Bahamas Bowl where they crushed UAB 41-6.After a strong 9-4 SU and ATS finish last year, the Bobcats are looking to continue their success on the field. While the defense loses 8 starters, the offense is returning 8 starters on a team that averaged 433.0 yards per game. They look to improve even more in 2018 and advance to their 9th consecutive bowl game.
