MLB bettors know that finding value on the moneyline late in the season can be difficult. Take Wednesday night’s game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers for example. The Dodgers – clearly the better team – are the -360 betting favorites. Even the runline price is an unappealing -167.

That’s where player props come in. TwinSpires offers a variety of props on every MLB game, ranging from pitching strikeouts to individual RBIs. Let’s discuss our three favorite player props for this contest.

Julio Urias to record the win

The current MLB leader in wins with 17, Julio Urias makes his third start of the season against the Diamondbacks in this spot. If his first two outings are any indication, Arizona will have an awfully hard time generating offense in this one.

Urias is 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA and .167 opponent batting average over 11 2/3 innings of work against the D-backs this year. He’s struck out 15 batters and walked none in that span. Urias should record his fifth straight win on the mound on Wednesday night.

MLB pick: Yes (-135)

Max Muncy Over/Under 0.5 RBI

Mookie Betts and Max Muncy are perhaps the most potent one-two punch at the top of the lineup in baseball. Bettors should expect Muncy to drive either Betts or himself in on Wednesday night.

Betts is 4-for-9 lifetime against Arizona starter Merrill Kelly with two home runs, while Muncy is 6-for-15. Muncy has gathered some timely knocks at the plate of late, having hit two homers and six RBI in his last six games. Count on him to extend this solid run.

MLB pick: Over (+145)

Mookie Betts to homer and the Dodgers to win

Bettors looking to make a bigger score might want to take a flyer on this prop to cash on Wednesday night.

As we mentioned above, Betts has already taken Kelly deep twice. He hit his 20th and 21st home runs of the season over the weekend against the San Diego Padres, just part of his current seven-game hitting streak.

Betts is listed at +245 to hit a home run, which would pay regardless of the result of the game. But bettors can be confident in the Dodgers prevailing in this spot based on their superior pitching staff and lineup.
