When Brett Favre talks about the Super Bowl, it’s a good idea to listen.

The TwinSpires ambassador played in a pair of NFL title games during his legendary career, coming away a big winner at Super Bowl XXXI with a 35-21 victory over the New England Patriots. Favre led Green Bay to its first championship since 1967 in that matchup by throwing for 246 yards and two touchdowns.

The three-time NFL MVP has had plenty of time to assess this weekend’s eagerly anticipated game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and is expecting big things from Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski.

"Gronkowski has had one game this year with at least six receptions and 50+ yards," Favre told us. "In the biggest game of them all, I expect [Tom] Brady to look often at his longtime partner in crime."

That performance came against the Chiefs in Week 12, when Gronk hauled in six passes for a season-high 106 yards. The perennial Pro Bowler has faced Kansas City five times during his career, and has had 17 receptions for 363 yards and three touchdowns against the reigning AFC champs.

The original price for Rob Gronkowski Over 2.5 Receptions and 50+ Receiving Yards was set at +215, but TwinSpires Sports has now boosted that to +300 as part of its Super Odds market.
