No sooner had the confetti settled at Hard Rock Stadium did attention turn towards which team will win the Super Bowl in Tampa in 2021.

Immediately after the Chief’s 31-20 NFL Championship victory over the 49ers, Churchill Downs sportsbook BetAmerica installed the Patrick Mahomes-led Kansas City as a +700 favorite to win back-to-back championships. Their odds have since improved to +600.

Despite being just 12 points away from a Super Bowl victory in Miami, the 49ers are third favorites at +900 with BetAmerica to win next year.

Splitting the two teams in the market is the Baltimore Ravens, who have gone up as +750 second favorites.

“The Chiefs have an era-defining quarterback who many expect will lead them to multiple championships, and we anticipate they will be well supported to become the first team to go back-to-back since the 2005 Patriots“, said BetAmerica’s Andrew Brown.

The New Orleans Saints are on the fourth line of betting at odds of +1200, in front of the New England Patriots (+1400), Philadelphia Eagles (+1700) and Green Bay Packers (+1800).

Prior to the start of the 2019 season, the Kansas City Chiefs were +800 second favorites with BetAmerica.
