Chiefs vs. Titans: NFL Week 7 betting odds, preview, and pick
Two Super Bowl contenders from the AFC will collide at Nissan Stadium on Sunday afternoon as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Tennessee Titans.
The Chiefs bounced back from a decisive loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 5 with a 31-13 thumping of Washington in Week 6. Meanwhile, the Titans eked out a 34-31 triumph over the Bills in an “instant classic” Monday Night Football affair in Week 6, giving them four wins over their last five contests.
Who will emerge victorious in this battle of AFC heavyweights? Let’s start finding out.

Titans can contain Kelce
Tennessee’s defense has been nothing to brag about in 2021, as they rank 24th in the NFL in yards allowed per game (384.0). But one aspect they have excelled at is limiting production at the tight end position. That spells trouble for Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce.
The Titans have allowed the second-fewest receptions (17) and yards (139) to opposing tight ends this year. They snapped a streak of four games with at least one touchdown grab for Bills tight end Dawson Knox last week, as they held him to three receptions for 25 yards.
Chiefs will bow to King Henry
There’s no sugarcoating how bad the Chiefs’ stoppers have been in 2021, as this unit has allowed the fifth-most yards per game in football (410.5) and the fifth-most points per game (29.3). They’ve been particularly porous in the ground game, allowing 133.2 rushing yards per tilt.
Titans tailback Derrick Henry – fresh off his fifth straight 100-yard rushing performance and his second straight game with three touchdown carries – looms large in this one. The last time he took on K.C. in the regular season was Week 10 of 2019, when he rushed for 188 yards on 23 carries with two touchdowns in a 35-32 home victory.
