Kembla Grange doesn’t usually host the main New South Wales meeting on a Friday night U.S. time, but because of COVID-related disruptions around Sydney, the South Coast track will stage its second significant card in the space of two weeks.

BULL: Getting Centimental at Kembla Grange in Australia

Three top quality Group 3 races, including the San Domenico S., highlight a terrific 10-race card, which kicks off at 9:30 p.m. ET. The area had plenty of rain earlier in the week, and because of that, racing will take place on a soft track.

TwinSpires players can get their bet back up to $10 if their first win wager each race finishes second, and that offer is available on every race from Kembla Grange. Players can also watch and wager on three other Australian tracks tonight — Goulburn, Doomben, and Belmont.

Here are a couple picks for the big meeting at Kembla!

Race 1: #9 The Storm In Me (15-1 morning line)

This three-year-old filly from the barn of Tim McIntosh has been in great form this campaign, with two wins in her last three starts. Last time out Aug. 13, she looked to have plenty in reserve during a win at Muswellbrook.

The Storm In Me is proven on wet ground, and she will be in a handy position when they swing for the judge.

While this is a step up in grade, she looks to have the talent. At these healthy morning-line odds, she is worth a shot, particularly with the TwinSpires Bet Back promotion in mind.

Race 6: #1 Stay Inside (9-4 morning line)

There is plenty of excitement around this son of Extreme Choice, who will return to the track for the first time since a dominant win in the world’s richest race for two-year-old horses, the Golden Slipper S. (G1), in March.

Stay Inside has run well in two recent barrier trials at Randwick, which suggests he is forward enough to run well first off the layoff.

He is undefeated in two starts over soft track conditions, and jockey Tommy Berry will be able to stalk the speed and have the last crack at them down the stretch.

Good luck!
