BC Internationals: Filly & Mare Turf contender Miss France

The Andre Fabre-trained Miss France scored her signature win in last year's 1000 Guineas (G1) at Newmarket (click link for replay), but didn't have as much success when a dead-heat fifth in the 2014 French Oaks (G1). Note that Filly & Mare Turf (G1) rival Bawina was seventh:


Miss France reverted to a mile for the 2014 Prix Rothschild (G1) and finished a commendable second to Mile contender Esoterique:


Returning to the scene of her Guineas victory in last fall's Sun Chariot (G1), Miss France was runner-up to Integral. The daughter of Dansili was then sidelined for 11 months. She made her belated four-year-old debut in the September 6 Prix de la Cochere at Longchamp and missed by a neck:


Miss France was subsequently second over the same course and one-mile distance in the Prix Daniel Wildenstein (G2), yielding only to Mile pre-entrant Impassable (whose second preference is the Filly & Mare Turf):


Judging by how Miss France has competed at a mile, she seems ripe for a stretch-out in trip.
