The Palm Beach racing action is ready to roll for the Tuesday card.  All eyes will be on the best racer here in JS SpeedyPebbles in the finale.  She will look to stay undefeated on the new season and get her 4th straight victory.  Many other races this afternoon are very competitive, which should make for some close finishes at the wire.

Here are the top races I will be following for the Matinee at “The Beach.”

Race 9 Grade J 545 Yards

Only one thing gets me excited about a Grade J race…a future star on the rise.  #2 HS Tootie Fruity could just be that here at Palm.  From top Kennel Rader Racing, Tootie Fruity has an outstanding rush and also won out of this same inside box in her first official schooling race on 7/2.  Sitting between two slow breakers here will benefit her as well today.

Main threat will come from #5 AMF Sunny Delite from B & B Racing.  The transfer from Miami has two Place showings since her transfer and has one of the only closes of this young field.  Should be included on any Exotic plays you may have here.

Tootie Fruity gets back to back wins after this one.

Picks 2-5-8-6

Race 14 Grade B 545 Yards

If you haven’t watched #2 Kiowa Hedge run yet, I highly recommend you see this race. At 90 pounds, he is easily the biggest greyhound racing here and is right up there with the biggest ones in the country.  To see a greyhound of this size blaze around the track is just awesome.  Looks to make it to Grade A for the very first time in his young career today and has a great chance to do it.

The Grade A hound dropping down #3 LK’s Brewster from the Royal Racing Team will give Hedge a run for his money today.  Has a recent win in the top class on 6/27, but has too big of a fade in his game to fire on for the W.  #1 Turbo Sharise has good early step and gets the prime 1 box to fire out of.

I’m going with the big dog Kiowa Hedge to close out the early burners here.

Picks 2-1-3-6

Race 15 Grade A 545 Yards

The race of the day without a doubt.

The people will be filling the stands today waiting to see the biggest star at the track in #7 JS SpeedyPebbles.  Looks to be the first greyhound to get to 4 wins on the young season and stay one of the hottest racers in the country.  She hasn’t missed the Quinela since April and has been smoking times well under 30 seconds since then.

Tough field for Pebbles today.  #4 CRT Majestic from The Champions Racing Team is also undefeated this season and is a 16 time winner last season. Great rush like Pebbles will put her near the front going around the curve.  Look out for hot rookie #5 Albatross, aka “The Big Bird” who is a 75% winner already in his young career.

Can’t go against the best greyhound here. “The Queen of Palm Beach” continues her reign.
