To start off, here’s the now-sidelined Aerovelocity beating Peniaphobia and Straight Girl in the 2014 Hong Kong Sprint:

Gold-Fun has since taken over the mantle of top local sprinter, first by landing the February 15 Chairman’s Sprint Prize (G1):

Although upset by Dundonnell in the April 26 Sprint Cup, you can see that Gold-Fun had a taxing trip:

Gold-Fun beat all bar Hong Kong Mile (G1) favorite Able Friend in the Premier Bowl:

Last time out, Gold-Fun rolled in the prep, the Jockey Club Sprint (G2), over a few re-opposing rivals (note especially the trouble encountered by eventual sixth Strathmore):

The grand old campaigner Sole Power finally got his Al Quoz Sprint (G1) on Dubai World Cup night, denying Peniaphobia and Green Mask:

Mikki Isle’s biggest win came in the 2014 NHK Mile (G1):

Turning back in trip, Mikki Isle was a terrific third to Aerovelocity in the March 29 Takamatsunomiya Kinen (G1):

Straight Girl just beat the boys in the Sprinters (G1), with Sakura Gospel second, Mikki Isle fourth and comebacker Rich Tapestry a slashing sixth:

Back in May, Straight Girl flew late to get up in the Victoria Mile (G1):

Mongolian Saturday of course comes off his gutsy score in the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1), where Green Mask did his best work late for third:

Not Listenin’tome garnered the May 31 Sha Tin Vase at this course and distance, beating Charles the Great:
