Say Florida Sandy Contenders

#1 AVEENU MALCAINU (9-2) -- Englehart pupil rides in on a two-race win streak following a pair of nice allowance tallies against open foes at Laurel Park. Into Mischief 5-year-old brings lifetime form to the field and is well drawn inside with Jorge Vargas Jr. in the controls.

#2 CELTIC CHAOS (10-1) -- Dublin 7-year-old earned a robust 106 BRIS Late Pace figure when a late fifth with allowance foes in the slop locally last time out. Brad Cox trainee is just 1-for-11 on the surface, however, and he will need improvement to challenge the field inside the final furlong. Junior Alvarado will be in the stirrups.

#3 MY BOY TATE (5-2) -- Boys at Tosconova 6-year-old led throughout in this race in 2018 and will look to win it again for Nevin. Dark bay gelding was a fine stakes winner off the 13-month absence here most recently, and he looms a menacing figure with anything near his top performance. Manny Franco retains the mount.

#4 MORNING BREEZ (12-1) -- Interesting son of Morning Line is not a proven stakes horse, but the Klesaris charge has speed in a field lacking an abundance of pace. Exotics contender is a dual winner at Aqueduct, and the gelding could get brave if he clears the field early on beneath Cancel.

#5 T LOVES A FIGHT (7-2) -- Noda trainee was a respectable third in the Gravesend S. last time out and drops back in with Empire State-bred company today. Gelded son of Girolamo has won or placed in four straight overall, and the bay is a logical top-three contender under Dylan Davis.

#6 ARTHUR’S HOPE (5-1) -- Son of Smart Bid chased a rapid pace before settling for a fourth-place result with open allowance foes in advance of the Saturday feature. Chestnut is capable of running huge at times, and he could be the value of the field third time off the bench. Speedy sort will force the issue from the start beneath Carmouche.

#7 THE CARETAKER (3-1) -- Son of Speightstown put in a career-best performance when dominating first-level allowance runners at Aqueduct most recently. Dark bay takes a big class hike in this spot, but he will be a major factor in the stretch with a repeat of his latest showing. Jose Lezcano will pilot the late runner.
