Twelve three-year-old fillies will race one mile over the Horseshoe Indianapolis dirt in the $200,000 Indiana First Lady S. on Wednesday, Aug. 3.

Below we give you our best exotics plays for Race 8 on Horseshoe's Wednesday card, including exacta, trifecta, and superfecta tickets for the Indiana-bred feature.

#1 Louder Than Words (3-1) opens as the morning line favorite despite failing as the favorite in her last two races. The Pulpit granddaughter came home third by 3 3/4 lengths in the one-mile Ellen's Lucky Star S. at this track, finishing a half-length behind second-place finisher #4 Holy Justice (5-1), who re-opposes here.

Two back, Louder Than Words placed second by 5 1/2 lengths behind #10 Climber (5-1) in the 1 1/16 Hoosier Breeders Sophomore S. A rider switch to hot jockey Marcelino Pedroza Jr. (21% winner this meet) could be the right move to get the three-year-old back in the winner's circle at a track where she owns a 4-1-2-0 record. Trainer Tony Granitz is a 21% winner with beaten favorites and a 12% winner with horses switching from turf to dirt, but has won just 5% of his last 39 non-graded stakes races.

Breeders Sophomore S. hero Climber is an intriguing play in her return to dirt. She was a distant sixth in the Ellen's Lucky Star in her lone attempt on turf, but flashed an 89 Brisnet Speed figure two back in her stakes win, with a 108 Late Pace rating. Conditioner Genaro Garcia is a 17% winner this meet and an 18% winner with horses making the switch from turf to dirt. Emmanuel Esquivel will retain the mount and has won 25% of his races when paired up with Garcia over the last two months. The outside post will be tough, but Climber has a solid chance to score her third career win in nine tries at Horseshoe.

Another filly to watch is #2 Lil Evie (4-1), who makes her debut at a route distance. The dark bay has won two straight at six furlongs against allowance company and will move up in class for trainer Kim Hammond, an 18% winner in non-graded stakes. Thomas Pompell will stay in the irons and is a 17% winner with routes. He's also won 33% of races when paired up with Hammond the last two months.

For the minor awards, Holy Justice has hit the board in three straight and last finished second by 3 1/4 lengths in the Ellen's Lucky Star. Garcia's other runner is 8-3-1-1 for her career at Horseshoe and has competed among stakes company in her last four.

#8 Habuiah (10-1) is another interesting runner out of the barn of John Langemeier, a 26% winner this meet. The dark bay moves up in class after winning by four lengths in a 1 1/16-mile allowance taken off the turf in which she clocked a 69 Brisnet figure. Hot jockey Edgar Morales is a 24% winner this meet and a 43% winner paired up with Langemeier over the last two months.

#7 Poetic Justice (12-1) and longshot #14 Miss Luv Shack (15-1) can also improve in their second route races. #13 Trafalgar Shore (20-1) is 4-1-2-1 for her career at Horseshoe Indianapolis and has the chance to hit the board, especially now that a couple of competitive horses have scratched from the field.
