Los Alamitos Race Course 3 | 6:00 pm ET W.L. Proctor Memorial for 2yo going 6 furlongs

PERADVENTURE did not come into his debut with the fanfare as maybe some of his other rivals in the Proctor did, but he put his foes away early and knew his job late. He kept a comfortable margin throughout and now draws outside the others and is worth a bet if close to his 4-1 morning line. BAD READ SANCHEZ did what perhaps his name sake has yet to do in the NFL, win big. The son of Warrior's Reward was only a head in front early in his debut, but powered home to win going away by 10. Inside post, only one way to go. WAKE UP NICK comes in off the Santa Anita Juvenile score and was very professional in between horses down the stretch, but it may be best to back HENRY'S HOLIDAY who was doing his best running late and the added distance on Saturday will help. Trainer Doug O'Neill trains four of the six. STORY TO TELL finished second in the SA Juvenile, beat just three quarters of a length. He too is another that will appreciate the extra half furlong.
