Conditions were hardly ideal for horses, drivers and spectators at Harrington Raceway and Rosecroft Raceway on Tuesday evening, but many of the pacing mares at each venue appeared capable of handling the off going.

In the second race of the Tuesday program at Harrington, Together Again N (Tony Morgan) overcame post seven to gain command in a 28.4 opener, got a modest breather to the half in 58.2 and held safe the late bid of Paradise Lost (Montrell Teague) to capture a non-winners of $3500 last five starts/optional $10,000 claiming event for pacing fillies and mares in 1:56.2. An 11-year-old Sir Vancelot mare trained by William Reynolds, Together Again N notched her second straight tally and now owns 34 wins and $244,000 banked from 173 career outings.

One race later in a non-winners of $40,000 lifetime class for pacing fillies and mares, Art Of Dancing (Teague) also had little trouble overcoming post seven to gain command in a 28.3 opener, maintained an honest tempo throughout and drew clear late to a four-length score in 1:55.1. A five-year-old daughter of Art Official trained by Dan Coker, Art Of Dancing has won both of her starts this year and now owns a 9-5-2 slate and $61,000 bankroll from 36 career outings for owner Herbert Coker.

Two races later in the $16,000 F-M Open Handicap, Enhance Your Mind (Victor Kirby) just lived up to her role as the 3-5 favorite when she gained command from post five, led the field by the half in 57 flat and three-quarters in 1:26.2 then outlasted the late, first over bid of Hostess Lisa (Morgan) for a neck score in 1:54. A five-year-old Riggins mare owned and trained by Bryan Truitt, Enhance Your Mind notched her seventh win in 12 starts this year and now boasts a 15-8-7 slate and $188,000 bankroll from 40 lifetime outings.

That same evening at Rosecroft amid similar conditions, Feelingmightygood (Jeff Stafford) kicked off the card by overcoming a parked-the-mile journey and third over bid to prevail by a length in 1:54 as the 3-1 second choice. A nine-year-old Mr Feelgood mare, Feelingmightygood has won two straight races, two of three local tries and twice in seven starts overall this year. She now sports 23 wins and earnings of $123,000 from 132 career tries.

Just before the midway point of the card, Arts And Flowers (Roger Plante, Jr.) continued the promising start to her career when she brushed to command before the half in 57.4 then drew clear late to a four-length score in 1:55.1 as the 3-5 choice in a non-winners of three races lifetime class for pacing fillies and mares. A four-year-old daughter of Artistic Fella owned and trained by James Coughlin, Arts And Flowers notched her second straight score and third win in four career outings to push her earnings toward $8,000 while lowering her lifetime mark by one-fifth of a second.

Then one race later in the $10,000 F-M Open Handicap, Westsluckycam (Russell Foster) continued her newfound winning ways when she rallied from far back early to post a determined score in 1:53.1. A four-year-old Camluck mare trained by Mike Hall for the Ctc Stable, Westsluckycam has now won the F-M Open three straight weeks and owns five wins and $43,000 banked from 13 seasonal outings and already joined the short list of contenders for horse of the meet honors.
