Unbeaten Marissa’s Lady headlines a group of nine three-year-old fillies at Turfway Park in Saturday’s Cincinnati Trophy S., a Kentucky Oaks (G1) prep race worth 17 points (10-4-2-1) to the top four finishers.

Below we help you build a superfecta ticket for Race 6 on Saturday’s card and provide full notes on our top picks.

#1 Valentina Day (10-1)

Coming off a win in a one-mile allowance race at Turfway, Valentina Day’s last Brisnet Speed figure (75) may not look all too promising compared to other fillies in the field. But with Gerardo Corrales regaining the mount, she could be in for a huge showing. Two back in December, Corrales guided the Ben Colebrook trainee to a 1 1/4-length victory at 1 1/16 miles at Turfway and hit an 84 Speed rating.

If Corrales can get a similar effort from Valentina Day, the gray filly could be in for an upset win over favorite Marissa’s Lady, despite a move up in class. With the rail post winning at an 18% clip, Valentina Day has prime post position to finish in the money.

#2 Bhoma (5-1)

Bay filly Bhoma has finished first or second in four of five starts in 2021 and last won at 1 1/16 miles on dirt at Churchill Downs in November. The better of two entries for trainer Kenneth McPeek, Bhoma has the speed to compete in her first go at Turfway’s all-weather track.

#5 Marissa’s Lady (1-1)

The morning-line favorite, Marissa’s Lady is undefeated in four career starts, including a recent six-length victory in the Valdale S. at Turfway, which marked her second stakes win at the track.

The gray filly hit a 91 Speed figure last time out and handily beat Bubble Rock, the clear second in the Valdale who re-opposes here. Trainer Bill Morey should have her in good form for her fifth career win, but there’s some concern with Saturday’s stakes race being her first at a route distance.

#8 Tap Dancing Lady (6-1)

Just nine days removed from a third-place finish in a one-mile allowance race at Turfway, Tap Dancing Lady will be asked to bounce back quickly against a tougher field. The Ronald Kahles trainee has finished in the money in four career starts and has a win and show at Turfway in her last two outings. While she’s unlikely to win Saturday on short rest, play her underneath for a potential third- or fourth-place finish.

#9 Bubble Rock (7-2)

Brad Cox is back for revenge after Marissa’s Lady breezed past Bubble Rock in February’s Valdale S. and may see improvement returning at a route distance. The last time Bubble Rock was asked to run a mile, the dark bay filly was overmatched in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) in November, but hit an 89 Speed figure. Look for the daughter of More Than Ready to finish in the money as she makes her return to Turfway for the second time in less than a month.
