Rader Racing Kennel will have four entries among the eight finalists in Saturday afternoon's $50,000 He's My Man Classic finale at Palm Beach Kennel Club.  Atascocita Henri from Suncoast Kennel scored 50 points to top the standings. The 2012 Puppy Stakes winner will be pitted against some of the best greyhounds that PBKC has as he tries to take the crown in Race 12.

He'll have his work cut out for him though. O Ya Pure Country from Rader Kennel was second for points with 46 and has a lot of sub thirty second times in his last races. His kennel mate, O Ya Billy Bob, who won the Dick Andrews Futurity in record time this year, was a close second in his last race and can flash blazing speed if he gets the post and position to do so.

CT Heartbreaker from Rader Racing Kennel, one of two females in the race, can't be counted out especially for exotics. She'll be trying to close on the leaders and if she has room, she could be breathing down their necks in the stretch. San Tan Big Bang from the Steve Glister Kennel, has shown early speed in his last two races and could be in the mix for exotics also.

O Ya Chance from Rader Racing, Wanda's Williams from Royal Racing Team, and Maliceindapalace from Brindle Kennel round out the entries and will be trying for an upset win.

I haven't seen the post position draws yet, because they'll be drawn on Thursday afternoon, so it's harder to handicap. Based on their last races, I think Atascocita Henri and O Ya Billy Bob will be vying for the early lead. Whether they'll burn each other out, leaving the field open to a closer, remains to be seen. For exotics, I like Atascocita Henri and O Ya Billy Bob with San Tan Big Bang and CT Heartbreaker, but it all depends on post position, of course.

The $50,000 "He’s My Man Classic" is the first event in Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $150,000 “Big 3" Stakes series. On February 23rd, the $50,000 James W. Paul 3/8ths Mile Derby will take place and the $50,000 Arthur J. Rooney, Sr. Saint Patrick’s Invitational is on Saturday, March 16th.
